So much in life is what you make of it. We all have bad days, there is no changing that. Some people just don't understand that if every place you work is "terrible" or "full of idiots" maybe it's not others...? Anyway, I just find it interesting how many people go through life hitting their head against a wall instead of rolling with the punches and making the best of things!

So I'm sitting at the shipper today been here 6 hours it's a cluster F### thank God for dentition. I'm just chilling out with my dog in the truck. This driver comes up to me wanting to ask me questions about gptransco. I could tell he was in a bad mood. He started telling me how his company is screwing him over and how he cussing out his DM and why he not making any money. Just going on and on about how bad it is for him. Then he asked me how much I make if it's true about what he read online. I showed him my settlement for the week no big deal. Told him it's based on professionalism and performance not cussing out the DM and working very hard even when **** goes south. I hope the fella will fix his attitude.
Shipper:
The customer who is shipping the freight. This is where the driver will pick up a load and then deliver it to the receiver or consignee.
Dm:
Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager
The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.
