I have a misdemeanor for fleeing and eluding from 2019. I’m trying to figure out which companies will consider hiring me. I completed truck driving school in February and applied to some places but got turned down. I want to fill out applications again but don't know who to apply with. Any help or suggestions? Please

What was the charge for? I'm assuming you were convicted. You don't need to share here, just think how it is hurting you now. Be absolutely honest with companies. Try calling CFI see if they'll give you a shot. CFI takes each bad past on its own.

Western Express and CR England are other companies known to give a second chance.

Good luck.

Don't be surprised if you have to go through some school again since your CDL is getting stale.

CDL:

Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:

  • Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
  • Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.

Apply For Truck Driving Jobs

OOS:

When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.
