U-Haul, Penske, or Ryder There are some others, but those three are off the top of my mind.
Is there a way for me to rent a rig and drive my crap across country so I don't have to pay a moving company. I am an otr driver and very familiar with cross country driving. If there is a way, which companies should I look into?
How about the company you drive for? Could they quote a rate? It never hurts to ask.
OTR driving normally means you'll be hauling freight to various customers throughout your company's hauling region. It often entails being gone from home for two to three weeks at a time.
