Check Your Nuts Boys And Girls.

Seen 2 trucks and a mini van last 2 days that lost wheels on the highway. Luckily they didn't seem to hit anything, a run away wheel can roll and bounce a long way potentially hurting or killing someone.

So always remember to check your nuts!

Don't be afraid to grab them and give them a twist to make sure they are nice and tight, especially if someone recently had your wheel off.

A very very long time ago a friend of mine had a flaming tire, yes at least part of it was on fire, come of a big truck, bounce over the median on the 405 near Long Beach, and land on the hood of her car. It was fortunate for her that #1 she was in a VW Beetle (with the engine in the back, and #2 that it was bumper to bumper traffic so the impact was fairly slow.
