Good luck with your start tomorrow.

Pizza already? The average driver gains 10 lbs per year, so you may want to consider this. No need to jump start it before orientation begins.

I would choose better but the shuttle stops running at 5pm on Sunday. It was a great treat, pizza happens only a few times a year. LOL.

OOS:

When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.

Well, for good or bad, I am well versed in hurry up and wait. Day 2 of orientation coming up. I think CBT’s today and turn in the papers for the apprenticeship program.

Turned in papers and received an email confirmation for the tuition reimbursement, at least one thing went quickly. Yes yes yes hurry up and wait is still the theme of the day. Going to day 3, simulator/CBT/SMITH driving/range & backing/ who knows followed by lunch. LOL. Keeping positive, cuz it is what it is. I have a feeling that on the road will be different than explained in a classroom. Talk at y’all later.

CBTs and a quick road test. First time driving in an automatic truck. I was not entirely prepared for the downshift when I let go of the accelerator, I'm preaching to the choir likely. Here we go.

Orientation is over. Now I am waiting in a hotel in Omaha for a trainer to become available. Today was my first attempt to back a truck with an automatic transmission. I don’t know what to do with my left foot.
