Winter in Alaska sees far fewer travelers with December through March being the best months to view the northern lights or aurora borealis. The spring and fall months in Alaska offer unique opportunities and lower prices.

Hi, my name is Nat and I recently came down to the lower 48 from Alaska, to get work in O.T.R. driving. I tried getting on with a training company like swift, werner, and schneider but they won't accept my Alaska drivers license. I do have a cdl-b and I made sure to get a learner's permit. I also made sure my physical was current. So trying to figure out why these companies don't accept Alaska licenses. I was told to just get another state as my residence and then they would take me. My cabin is in Alaska and I would rather not give up my residency there. So, any advice would be helpful.
