I guess for now we will suggest he avoid the poppy seed products whenever he is within a couple of days of a terminal

If that's due to drug test fears it's useless. You can be sent for a drug screen at any time not just when you're at the terminal. Large companies have places all over the country that they have agreements with for drug screens. Also, if he's ever involved in a minor accident he'll be sent for a drug test usually immediately. Company policies vary but my employer sends you if it's over $1,000 in damages.

I'm home daily so it's different for us. We'll get a phone call when we're at, or almost back to our yard. All they tell us is that we need to see HR before we leave for the da. If you ask why they say they can't tell you but you're not in trouble. I've been sent 4(?) Times in the 3 years I've been here but 3 of them were within about 2 months time. There have also been days they'll be in our drivers room when we show up and breathalyzer everyone that comes in within a set time frame.

Terminal:

A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.

Okay, interesting. I think for the 11 months he's been at Marten it was at one of two terminals but I'll mention it to him and I'll eat his muffins stashed in our freezer.
