I am trying to start trucking I just need to pass my permit test and send in an application. If my license was suspended once before because of my car insurance and I have little to none traffic tickets do you think they still accept me ?
A lot depends on when these occurred. Last month would be bad; several years ago better. Traffic tickets will carry more weight, depending on the offense.

PackRat is exactly right. Try to make sure 'ANY AND ALL' offenses are at least 3 years old; and 10 is even better. In the meantime, read this:
