Cebu as well Matthew, my 3 Filipino adopted families all from that area.
My chicks place is called Boljoon, it's between Oslob,andAlcoy.about 3 hours south of Cebu City. Her place is a 10-15 minute walk to the beach nearby.
Oslob is the tourist spot where you can snorkel with the whales lol (not me) Close to Dumaguete, where 1 the guys from our old Fbook group lives, I plan to visit him one day soon too.
Been slowly learning their Bisayan/Cebuano language lol
Not really needing to be where lots of ex-pats live, is whole point of moving away haha....
Steve. There are plenty of expats in that area. You'll meet some like minded folks. There is a VA clinic in Angeles if your a vet. Lot of cool things to do there in Cebu. You won't get bored. Dive in Palawan if you get a chance. You won't regret Best wishes and have fun.
