First, you're going to have to be more clear on the events, timeline, and details when you apply. It's hard to decipher what exactly happened and when.
Get all of your facts, records, and court dispositions lined up. "In the past" and "years later" won't help with answers. The time and details between then and now can make a big difference in who is willing to hire you.
My best guess would be you will have to wait 3 years from when your license was instated. And it better be a very clean 3 years. Even then, some companies will not accept you with a DUI and suspension.

In the past I didn't have a driver's license and I got a DUI but I went to court and they didn't have a ticket on file. Years passed and later it turned out that I had an arrest warrant for "not having me brought to court for it," I fixed the problem with a lawyer and I ended up like a reckless driver. Now that I was able to apply for a valid California license, it turns out that it is recorded in my license record that I had my license suspended for that dui ticket that was left as reckless driving. My question is the following... could I still apply to be a truck driver? Would appreciate any information or advice to my question thank you beforehand.
