So I'm a line haul driver and often get sent to lay over in places I've never been. Sometimes finding a good hotel can be a real pain. Would a forum where drivers and rank/review hotels in different states that accept the various travel cards be useful to anyone other than me?

Line Haul:

Linehaul drivers will normally run loads from terminal to terminal for LTL (Less than Truckload) companies.

LTL (Less Than Truckload) carriers will have Linehaul drivers and P&D drivers. The P&D drivers will deliver loads locally from the terminal and pick up loads returning them to the terminal. Linehaul drivers will then run truckloads from terminal to terminal.

I wouldn't need it. FedEx has accounts with hotels local to their buildings which is a vast network.

When I'm curious about businesses in an area I'm unfamiliar with, I turn on the location settings on my phone and Google them. For hotels, I'd type in "hotels near me" and make a decision based on those reviews. If you're looking for hotels that take specific cards, it may take some more work, but that's also something in not concerned about because reimbursement isn't an issue.

HOS:

Hours Of Service

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.

We use CLC and they have their own app. It allows me to see every hotel in network and a rating. Also has filters I can select for any ammenties, pets, pool etc but most importantly truck parking. Granted, its still best to still call the hotel to confirm truck parking and check google maps to see if its realistic getting in AND OUT. Do any of your cards have an app or site you could use?
