There have been several comments on this in another thread, but I don’t want to post on that thread because of a certain person who disrespects this forum.
Ryan posted a good recipe for the crockpot. And I’ve been experimenting with using my crockpot for making breakfast. I found that I can mix up about 4 eggs in a bowl, like making an omelette. Then I add chopped onions, shredded cheese, chopped peppers, mushrooms and cubbed ham or bacon bits. Mix everything together, pour in the crockpot and cook for several hours. Makes a great breakfast. Not exactly an omelette, but I think there must be a name for it.
Also, the crockpot let’s me use up odds and ends from my fridge before they get too old.
