Does anyone use an instant pot on their truck? If so how is that working out?

I have a multi cooker, which is like an instant pot, just a different brand. I use it to cook rice and stews. I have also cooked pasta in it. I use the sauté function to brown meat for the stew, and have also used it for sloppy joe. It’s a nice appliance to have on a truck.

Does it actually build pressure like a pressure cooker. Can you boil eggs in it?

I had one, it worked freaking amazing on my first truck.

Second truck? Exact same setup, exact same inverter, literally the same appliance grade extension cord. I can't even get my 900w microwave to run 5 minutes on 30 percent power, so I have thrown pretty much everything off the truck. So frustrated right now.

Mine doesn’t have the pressure cooker function, but many do. If you want that function, be sure to read the label. I have never boiled eggs, but have cooked pasta in boiling water of the steam function.

Sometimes I have to run my truck when I use my microwave/air fryer. Building up pressure and releasing didn't cause moisture problems in your truck?

Nah, no issues there. I have a "TV Tray" style folding table, which I use to cook on top of, so there is no direct jet of steam to hit a surface of the truck. Yeah, some days there seems to be a lot of moisture in the air, but it clears out fast with a window open, or running the AC.

I have a pressure cooker/ crockpot that I use for various things. It works great. I usually set in all my ingredients on my 30 during the day. Hit the buttons and let it cook. I specifically went with a pressure cooker version for the locking lid as I am going down the road.. as far as mounting it I have a small tie down strap that hooks to the passenger seat goes through the top handle and the other end hooks to a metal ring by my bunk floor. It just stay cinched down on my counter top all day while driving
