Had Green light laser back in Feb. Everything has been normal the past month. Started new job driving semi, took 500 mile trip and now my prostate area, lower abdominal has pain, pressure, etc.. just like before. Urologist says it's not my prostate because most of it was lasered off. Can it just be irritated? And I will get used to it? Any help appreciated.. maybe a good butt pillow? I can't take ibuprofen as it upsets my stomach

A good thick "butt pillow" may help. I use Aleve's or the wal mart knock offs for any pains, but not too often now days. They helped with my bad knee with 2 T brackets n 9 screws after walking too far/long. Started using them as a mechanic, since by mid day on my feet, I'd start to get pain and need a sit down break. After using Aleve's I could go all day, even 10-14 hours on my feet, without much pain.

Plus February wasn't long ago, maybe your not fully healed, and yes you should feel better over time, I'd think.....Driving I had a 4 inch memory foam twin mattress, that I ended up cutting up for 2 seat cushions for me and my co driver, and a bunk topper on our lower bunks mattress, helped a LOT for adding more comfort to sleep, goin' down the road

Hi Vincent. Just curious, how old are you? I have an enlarged prostate that I take medication for. It’s basically just a muscle relaxer that targets the muscle around the prostate. You could ask your doctor if that would help. But even before the medication, I could sit on the factory seat for my 11 hours with no discomfort. For you, though, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to get a good seat cushion and see if it helps.

Also, I take OTC pills for knee pain. My doctor doesn’t want me to take Ibuprofen, only Tylenol. But I cheat a little because Ibuprofen is more effective. It can damage the kidney though.

If I were you, I would try a good high density foam seat cushion.
