Type Of Hair Follicle Tests

What type of hair follicle test do companies do for new employment? I was told it’s a five panel. I took a Valium to help me sleep occasionally that was prescribed to me wife. I can’t pass a hair follicle if it’s anything above a five panel because it goes back 90 days. I took it last month.

I'm unsure how far back the tests go, but I would wait about six months to be certain. You can do a private test yourself to confirm you'll pass, which isn't a bad idea. Just be certain the results will remain private.

Failing a drug test will probably end your career for several years. I've been giving advice for a very long time, and I can't remember anyone who failed a test and found a job soon afterward. So be incredibly cautious.

I asked the lab tech the last time I last got that haircut. They look only at 90 days. After that, the "evidence" has deteriorated too much. Six months' wait will make sure the evidence is about gone. Since it is a career you are looking forward to, it's worth the wait.
