I just looked it up and unless you will be 75 years old or older when your license is due to expire you do not have to retake all the tests.

Welcome back!
Pianoman is correct, evidently they do not require you to retest. Must be a new rule because I've always understood you had to retake all tests no matter what.
"Applicants for an Illinois CDL who hold a valid CDL issued by another state of the same classification and containing the same endorsements as being applied for in Illinois are exempted from the pre-trip/skills/driving testing, unless the applicant is 75 years of age or older, in which case the applicant must complete"

Thanks for the responses guys! I called the DMV today and they confirmed that I do not need to retake any tests. I am so thrilled.
@Pianoman and @Bobcat_Bob, thanks again for looking up the info for me; you helped ease my mind a little bit.

I will be moving back to Illinois where I previously held a CDL for six years. There is just one problem...Illinois requires people to retake ALL of the tests when moving to that state. My question is...if I previously held a CDL in this state, could I somehow bypass the tests as I previously had a CDL in that state already? I got my CDL in Illinois and lived there for six years before relocating to Missouri. When I moved to Missouri, I'm pretty sure I took the tests again. I don't know if it was required or not. After almost seven years of living in Missouri, I will be moving back to Illinois. I really don't want to have to retake all of the tests a THIRD TIME.
