Paul, I felt the same way starting where I did about maybe making more elsewhere. But like you I'm glad I started (and stayed) with them. Good luck in your recovery!
I have a truck now I launch this Monday on it and will get my 1st load. Things didn't go as planned but everything happens for a reason sometimes.
Congrats Paul!! Now the real learning begins.
Nobody to bail me out when I am having a problem have to do it all myself now.

That happens to every wet-behind-the-ears rookie. Check out my first week at Swift:
My first day was easier than that picked up a relay in Gary drove 166 miles to a Walmart DC dropped a trailer picked up a empty drove 50 miles dropped this empty hooked up to a loaded trailer only have 4000 lbs on it don't have to be at place they unload until 8am the 14th any only have to drive 475 miles. I should have plenty of time to stop early find a place to park and finish up as long as they unload me fairly quick. They have me going out for 37 days on this block which is what I want.
Been a tough week I was in Chicago was making a tight turn somebody got in the lane right in front of me I had to turn away from hence hitting the curb with 42500 lbs on my trailer blew out a tire had to call safety and have my tired replaced. Nobody said anything to me about it I finished up the run I was doing got another load this morning and have one lined up after this one. Working my way out west St. Louis tomorrow than onto Texas.
Paul correct me if I’m wrong, but wasn’t this the same reason you got let go from TMC??
Slow down, stop if you have to for a clear path to do what you have to do.
Having loads stacked afterward is a good sign your job is safe.
That is strike one at Roehl. Do NOT look for strike 2.
Slow and deliberate is your best friend.
