My dad used to take me to work with him when he was a shop manager at Con-Way. I decided I'd rather drive and break them over fixing them, now I've been driving for OD going on 8 years.
Wish I could take my boys out for a day on a flatbed run, they would love it. ABF has a strict no rider policy, we don’t even have passenger seats in most tractors.
Every terminal does have one tractor with both seats for training purposes and rescues
A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.

Being able to take my kids with me is the best benefit. It makes the day way easier. They don't even say are we there yet when riding along.
