Hi, its me Wendy... Im wondering if the training modules and practice tests can be downloaded and printed in its entirety. Or, better yet, could I get these from a bookstore. For the times I am not within internet range, I would like to continue to study... Day in, Day out!

Hi Wendy.

Unfortunately there is no way to download the actual CDL Practice Tests or the High Road Training Program. But you can download your state's CDL manuals here:

State CDL Manuals

We also have an Android Mobile App which contains the questions & answers from the High Road Training Program. It also corrects your scores, includes the quote from the CDL manual where the answer came from, and works offline. We don't have an iPhone version....just an Android version.

CDL:

Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:

  • Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
  • Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.
