Honestly, I preferred the old layout from my phone. I could adjust the size to my liking. Now everything is so huge, it's like it was set up for old people who lost their reading glasses. Is there a way to force it to revert to the old "desktop" layout?

I restarted the cell and no change. So you get an idea what I am talking about.... Your pic frame is nearly to full windows worth before getting to the posted text in landscape.

See, the point is you're not supposed to have to adjust anything. The font should be legible without having to zoom in and out.

Ok, let me hide some of the stuff like the avatar, when they joined, and such on mobile and see if that's better. I'll change it now.

Okay, but my point is that I like having the ability to zoom in and out at will. The way it is now, it's too big. (That's what SHE said!)

Put simply, I despise mobile layouts. They make it 10 times more difficult for me to navigate and read a Web page. My phone (Galaxy Note 3) has a large enough screen that I can read most Web pages with minimal zooming, and my browser (Dolphin) has a setting to override mobile layouts and show the desktop layout by default. With mobile versions I have to scroll and scroll and scroll and scroll to read one comment or article, and if I want or need to access a menu, I'm forced to do all of that scrolling in reverse. With a desktop layout, I can adjust the size to suit my needs at any given time.

I get what you're going for here, but it really doesn't work for me at all. I can't even resize the page to appear smaller. Having the mobile layout be optional, rather than forced and irreversible, would make more sense IMO.

Brett, on my phone, an LG-VM701 running Android 2.3.4, it all looks great except the follow and share buttons keep getting in the way of the menu and titles. They also move around a bit when I start to scroll. On my PC running Windows vista and chrome, everything is good.

Not sure what to think brett. there are no avatars at all now. no moderator or advisor tag next to names anymore. no longer says how long we have been a member of the forum. these were all things I like to be visible. especially the moderator and advisor tags

Well, you bought a mobile device and you hate mobile layouts. Maybe you should buy a device you'll enjoy using.

Thanks for the feedback toothless. I think those follow and share buttons are getting eliminated very soon.

The nickname, "moderator" label, "5 star advisor" label, and the experience levels are all visible right now. I kinda liked having the avatar visible in a smaller form even on mobile - maybe we can get more opinions on that. I also like seeing the number of posts, date joined, and all that. But it takes up quite a bit of space on mobile pages.

More opinions on what information we should show for each user on mobile phones?
