Can anyone point me in the right direction for a 12 volt cooler that works well and stays cold enough ?? Thanks !!

My opinion is for the Koolatron brand - the cheaper ones have always failed me after just a few months.

Old School what size do you use I was looking at the 42 qt,

Mine says 1.7 cubic foot. That may be the same one, not sure. One problem that most people don't like about it is that it won't fit in most truck cabinets, so it takes up some floor space.

Agreed with OS.

Don't get anything but a Koolatron. Avoid the cheap ones like Coleman and Igloo.

This is the one I have. Remember, you don't want to go too big with it, you won't have as much room as you think you do.

This one is perfect. Holds everything I need and keeps milk/yogurt and other temperature sensitive products good for a while.

Thanks for the input 3 of the companies I'm considering only allow small inverters so 12 volt appliances would have to be used !

I've had three other coolers before. None even come close to the one I linked to you. I highly recommend it.

My igloo has held up now for a yr and half and counting. It keeps my stuff ice cold.
