Thanks Old School.

I am trying. I havent driven any kind of truck in at least 27 years and NEVER a conventional so my performance yesterday, to me, was pretty good! Like riding a bike!!! But I want to get into the Zen of it, and keep safety numero uno, so the upcoming practice times are very important to me!!! I have no doubt I can pass the test, which is on Monday, May 13th. Hopefully, then I will be off to orientation with May Trucking in Denver on the 14th. Keep your fingers crossed!!!

Sounds awesome man! It had to be a huge relief to see how quickly you were able to get back in the swing of things. It's funny because nowadays I don't think most people will even know what you mean when you say you've never driven a conventional. There are still cabovers out there, but very few. That used to be an everyday conversation when it came to picking a company to drive for. Nobody wanted those cabovers but a lot of the major companies used em.
