Thanks for posting, Robert! Looks good.
First load was railroad parts going from Chicago to Springfield. This current load is a mess of structural steel that I picked up in Ottawa Kansas that's headed to the GM plant in Flint Michigan.
See Pat... people still flatbed in winter.. even when you quit posting pictures 😲
Wow it seems that if I quit posting photos you all quit flatbedding.....

Lol... I get my truck on Tuesday and should be rolling by the end of the week.
Good to hear it Pat.
Care to go into details? I don't know the first thing about how to become an owner operator. And while I really have no ambitions of doing so it sounds as if there is more to it than go buy a truck and plate it then insurance and just go pull loads.
An owner-operator is a driver who either owns or leases the truck they are driving. A self-employed driver.
Is this how to climb the ladder in flatbedding?
Good to hear it Pat.

There is a lot more to it, but this site is not about that so I will refrain. I will say that I lucked into a gig that will go on for another 10 months and will have the truck paying itself back easily in that time. And have some extra to keep going.

Hey Pat, I agree that you fell into a unique opportunity. Best of luck my friend, I hope you do real well!
