LOL, not THAT old! I'm 37 but have been somewhat of a Luddite over the past few years, especially when I see ppl falling down manholes because they are glued to their smart phones. I've heard of this tethering. So, I need a third party app to do this w/ my S4 Galaxy? What device gets the app install?

Who's your Carrier, if you say Verizon just forget about Tethering but it does work on your S4. Verizon is like Apple, bunch of money grubbing Nazi's that restrict what you can and can't do.

To me, Verizon is for pretentious people that wanna feel important because they have a high cell phone bill and the best coverage but I've got news for these folks. I save $$$ and get equally as good coverage.

I have Verizon, not because I am pretentious, cause I like having my phone work 99.9% of the time everywhere, unlike most other services, and I like my data plan.... Unlimited for $30.00 a month. Sure I pay more but I like having it when and where I want it which can't be said for the rest of the carriers..... Did I say I pay more? .... I meant a lot less. Sorry I got confused when everyone said Verizon was the more expensive of companies.... sorry.gif

I use my Galaxy S4 as a mobile hotspot for my tablet. No 3rd party to teather. I don't watch videos, just mainly read, check e-mail, weather update and traffic condition. (Do my e-logs). I have 4 GB I share with my wife. I normally use about 3.5 GB per month. If I need to, for another $10.00 I could go 6 GB. How to MOBILE HOTSPOT the SAMSUNG GALAXY 4

Not sure the whole thing about a Sprint buying out T-Mobile is true. First because they run two different type networks, Sprint using cdma and T-Mobile using gsm. Secondly after AT&T failed to buy them out last year or whatever it was, they've become a much bigger player in the game and it wouldn't make sense for them to sell at this point. So I wouldn't count on that as a merger anytime soon.

Just find a plan that offers unlimited data, no contract, and buy an unlocked phone. Most unlocked phones come with the option to tether out hotspot anyway.

It's true, not a rumor. Look into it.

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.

Ouch, dang. I have Verizon and am far from pretentious. Yes, I use it as a mobile hotspot...Sparingly. I also have a built in antenna on my truck as well as a portable with a signal Amplifier for local programming. The rates are a bit high but I have had service everywhere I have been so far. I need the reliability. You get what you pay for.
