The end of last week, my speedometer when wacky on my truck So when I got home on Monday for home time I reported it again (Friday it was just reading 10/15 miles over what I was actually doing). During the weekend it went completely out. Good thing I had a GPS on the truck so I could still see what I was doing for speed & not worry about speeding through all the little towns I was going through.

Since the maintenance department had me put the truck into a local repair facility, I have been home for scheduled home time. Now it is time to get back on the road, and still not fixed (waiting on parts). Only good thing is now I get breakdown pay for every day I am sitting. It's not much, $50/day, but better than nothing.

Stinks to be sitting when I know I could be making money. Oh well, just need make the best of the extended time at home. Only problem is that I need to be back here at the house no later than Sunday evening because I have an appointment at the VA hospital to get a hearing test so I can get me hearing aids back.

Will see what tomorrow brings.

Ernie

I hope all works out for you, enjoy the down time while you have it hate to say it but the seasons are changing quickly. I'm sure you'll make it up in no time. Take care, MRC

Oh I have talked about JB Hunt a lot when I drove for them. I loved it there. But the main reason you don't see to much about them is they require a little experience before you can go with them. We deal mostly with drivers that are just starting out so JB Hunt gets over looked most times due to the experience requirement.
