I'M WONDERING IF ANYONE ACTUALLY OWN THEIR OWN TRACTOR TRAILER? IF SO HOW'S IT GOING? DO YOU HAVE YOUR OWN AUTHORITY OR BROKERS LICENSE? THANKS

Hello Andre, i lease purchased a truck 5 weeks ago. Some weeks are better than others. Overall I give it a B. With this program the company your leasing from is your broker, bank, and everything else. Some programs are better than others. But its still alot of work besides actually driving. I 'm in a bit of a different position than alot of folks. I am retired and have a monthly income besides this truck that actually pays the household bills. That gives me more flexibilty when there is a bad week. The worst loads I have had was. 3rd party broker originated. I'm not sure why, but each time they were full of problems .

PJ thanks for responding. Just wondering. I'm also looking to see if anyone knows someone that has purchased their own truck from their personal bank/credit union? Again thanks pj. If u can answer that or know someone let me know.

Thanks

Andre, StarCar is a former owner operator for many years. she has been missing in action this week, but she will return I'm sure. Maybe she will comment on your thread when she gets in here. She financed several trucks various ways - she can sing the blues for ya, if that's what you want to hear.

Owner Operator:

An owner-operator is a driver who either owns or leases the truck they are driving. A self-employed driver.

Lol Old school I appreciate that. I've been all over This sight and read post from various people you have commented on when it probably didn't even pertain to me at this point in the game, but again I appreciate you. Hope to hear from Starcar soon. Trucking truth is awesome and so are you. Thanks again and GOD bless you.
