I've seen there are a lot of mobile apps for truck drivers. Any ideas (or reccomendations) on which are the most useful?

Thx., Marco

I personally have no idea lol. However, I did read CAT scale , My Pilot, Trucker Tools, TA, and TransFlo. Lets see what the people who know say.

CAT Scale:

A network of over 1,500 certified truck scales across the U.S. and Canada found primarily at truck stops. CAT scales are by far the most trustworthy scales out there.

In fact, CAT Scale offers an unconditional Guarantee:

“If you get an overweight fine from the state after our scale showed your legal, we will immediately check our scale. If our scale is wrong, we will reimburse you for the fine. If our scale is correct, a representative of CAT Scale Company will appear in court with the driver as a witness”

Trucker tools is a pretty good one. I tell you one I really like that's so simple. Raindar. It's just a simple doplar radar app that shows rain, snow, etc. It's very simple and I love it when figuring out if there's weather coming my way. Did I mention simple! Speaking of weather you'll definitely want a weather app. Weather channel is probably the best bet. You'll want to know what it's going to be like where you're going not so much where you are. So there's my two cents. Oh by the way raindar is for Android not sure about Apple

One of my most useful apps besides Google Earth is an app called RadarNow! It's a simple dapper radar that tracks you and if you long press on the screen it will show you the current conditions including the most important.... Wind Speed. It's free and pretty much bug free. I have used it for years.

I had cat scale , ta, pilot, love and a booked marked page with rest stop mile markers and the distance between each states interstate..

Interstate:

Commercial trade, business, movement of goods or money, or transportation from one state to another, regulated by the Federal Department Of Transportation (DOT).

CAT Scale:

A network of over 1,500 certified truck scales across the U.S. and Canada found primarily at truck stops. CAT scales are by far the most trustworthy scales out there.

In fact, CAT Scale offers an unconditional Guarantee:
