You'll be fine with the stuff you have....including your laptop.

If you do bring your laptop, even though you won't have a chance to use it ever, make sure you store it upright. Don't lay it down because it'll jump on ever bump and eventually the screen will shatter. Happened to me. Also, keep an eye on it. Don't trust anyone, the average person trying out is broke and would steal a laptop in a heartbeat. You'll have a roommate in the hotel for that first week, be especially careful then.

Yea I gotta agree with Daniel. I made the mistake of just setting it on my pillow and when I stopped for the night it was under my bunk with the screen open... I ended up making a strap for it and it went on the back of my passenger seat..

I would keep it with you, but don't expect to use it a whole lot. There are times when your stuck at a shipper recover and can get on for a few min which is nice but other than that, I wouldn't plan to use it to often.

You'll be fine, that's nothing compared to what I've seen people come here to the Ol Campus Inn with. Some trainers say not to bring anything but a sleeping bag but they are just kidding. Daniel you need a student?? Get to the Campus lol 58 students waiting to go out, not counting those showing up this weekend

Did you get lucky enough to get a room at the Ramada next door? A few do every week and they have a pool and a small gym and free breakfast. After your first week at the campus you have to buy breakfast yourself, or with the 200 dollar advance

This would be fine with me if I were a trainer, but other trainer may have other views. As long as it is not in the way. I know someone who had three bags. The trainer just allowed him to place them in the storage under the bed.

You might take some bungee or tarp straps with you to tie the bag on the upper bed so that it does not fly around.

I totally agree, Laptop is a must but I've upgraded to a PC in my truck. I couldn't imagine trucking without access to the world via internet. Haha
