Denver huh? My little ones live in Colorado Springs with their mama. I will be surprising them with a visit later this week.

It's a cool place to live and would be cool to call my "home base" were I OTR.

Gotcha. I will be finding out Friday what Denver is about. I have driven through there, but, never stopped to take it in. Anything around the Pepsi Center you can suggest I check out?

OTR:

Over The Road

OTR driving normally means you'll be hauling freight to various customers throughout your company's hauling region. It often entails being gone from home for two to three weeks at a time.

Matt, will do, if I go with Stevens. I will definitely post on here about school.

Brett, thanks for the advice, I will keep calling Knight. To be honest, getting in with Stevens seemed too easy ... makes me wonder if they are having high turnover for some reason.

Eckoh, indeed I am! I have a couple weeks to study before school and feel like I'll be ready for the written by the time I get there.

HetzelMr, thank you!! I'm glad to be here!

Be safe guys!

Trish, Hope all is going well. I ended up going with Swift because they have a school nearby and I cannot afford to put myself through. May class date is Oct. 20th. Now I've got all the fun of studying for the permit test and all the other little things that have to be fun. School's in Richmond, VA.

Matt, congrats on making the decision! I'm not 100% on Stevens yet ... just talked to Knight as well so now I have a choice to make. Hopefully one way or the other I'll start school 10/13. Good luck, let us know how it goes!
