First day in the books! I'm so tired tonight, and we have to read 140 pages in our manual. Wow.. A lot of it is the same stuff I've already covered in the High Road Program, so I'm skimming for the most part. I got the shifting down pretty good. I still freeze up at times and grind some, but the instructors are very happy with my progress. All day on the range driving tomorrow!

Go out there with CONFIDENCE...show them that you have learned and retained what has been taught. Instructors always like that....its a little atta boy for them to know you were listening to them.

Day 2 in the books! Great day today. It was all on the range doing left and right turns, and because myself and the guy I'm driving with are progressing so well we got to mess around with some backing too. The trainer said we're making his job really easy right now. I guess that's a good thing! Just waiting to get our drug tests back to we can hit the road!

Thats how you do it !!! impress the instructors, set yourself out ahead of the others, and you will get the extra time on the truck...and That will pay off when test time comes along. Keep that confidence level up there too. you will have days that you should have crawled under you bed and called in dead....we all have them...so work thru them and keep on trucking.
