My husband and I are fixing to start trucking otr next week and I was curious if anyone had any ideas on how to make the sleeper cozy? All suggestions welcome!

OTR:

Over The Road

OTR driving normally means you'll be hauling freight to various customers throughout your company's hauling region. It often entails being gone from home for two to three weeks at a time.

First thing I think I would do would be get memory foam mattresses for the beds, bring in plenty of fresh linens and your favorite blankets and comforters. If you can purchase properly-sized area rug for right in front of the bed, those things all combined would immediately cozy it up! Along with that you know you're going to need your flat-screen, your mini-fridge and ample stock of fast-fix foods along with fresh fruits for healthy snacking. Be sure to get a digital pic or two after you cozy it all up for the two of you, and share them here with us!

HOS:

Hours Of Service

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.

As Angi said, definitely use a memory foam mattress or at least a topper. And your favorite linens. A cozy rug. How about using sticky velcro to put some photos or artwork on some of the "walls?" Sachets or air fresheners in your favorite scents. Colored LED sticky lights for some mood lighting.

I am going to paint myself a sign which reads, "Home Sweet Semi" !! I will be doing my artwork while waiting for loads, etc. I don't watch tv, maybe will get myself some sirius xm.. I think the memory foam is a great idea!!
