The box said nervous ,psycatric disorders (eg server depression )

And since aspergers is just a development disorder I said I had none ,now I realize I should have said yes , especially since im reciving social security for it (hasn't been reviewed in 10+ years )

I'm going to see a therapist to try to remove diagnoses but I doubt they will do it .

I haven't driven for a company yet and have a two year card ,I really don't want to go to federal prison and I'm just hoping by not using my cdl no one will notice .

CDL:

Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:

  • Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
  • Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.

Hey Barack. No, you're certainly not going to jail.

The box you checked - was that a form for the DOT physical?

DOT:

Department Of Transportation

A department of the federal executive branch responsible for the national highways and for railroad and airline safety. It also manages Amtrak, the national railroad system, and the Coast Guard.

State and Federal DOT Officers are responsible for commercial vehicle enforcement. "The truck police" you could call them.

Yes sir! I wasn't really thinking about it too much and was going over the paper work before I went for a job interview and my heart sunk when I realized what I did .

Now I'm trying to weigh my options ,I don't think my therapist would have a problem clearing me but he's not a Dr.

I doubt the Dr would clear me since she seems to think everyone with a disability is a loon.

I really don't want to surrender my liscebse and have to go to school again or worse, have them ban me for life .

I did read how the government cross referenced ssdi with cdl holders.Ended up like 500,000 people the government says is disabled but still have cdls , and I never heard them or dot going after them so meh.

I'm just a nervous wreck because I really don't want to go to jail for a felon .At the time I thought I was being truthful ,accurate and honest but now I don't know

Take a deep breath and relax. They dont send people to jail for filling out applications wrong. Worse case is you dont get the job. I am quite sure there are a ton of drivers out there that struggle with all forms of anxiety/ocd based disorders and they probably didnt put down that they have a "nervous" disorder on the paperwork either. Hell, we all have issues with nerves.......life is stressful.......so just relax. You aint going to jail.
