Attention Western New York!

Yours truly will be coming to the Buffalo area tomorrow afternoon. I should be parked at my hotel around 3:00pm if anyone should want to meet up. PM me if you happen to be around that area.

Heavy C, I was just there on Saturday. I had a run from Delhi, Louisiana that had three stops - one in Hamden, Connecticut, then Farmington, and a final at North Collins N.Y. Then I went to Cressona Pennsylvania for my next load that ran down to New Albany Mississippi, where I am today. My routing down into P.A. took me through the small village of Arcade, N.Y. While I was rolling through there my youngest daughter calls and wants to know where I am. When I tell her she gets all excited and says "Daddy, you are right there near where Brett lives, are you going to try and go see him?" I tell her "no, he's a well established hermit, and he doesn't take any callers". She then says "well, you could just pop in and surprise him". So I tell her " I don't know if you can park a truck at his little farm, and besides he's got this menacing dog who will probably have my leg taken off before I can even explain who I am, and why I'm here."

Did you ever see Robert Duvall in "Second Hand Lion"? That's kind of how I imagine it is like getting into Brett's farm. LOL. not really, but I don't think he gets too many visitors that are supposed to be there!

By the way here is what it looked like over in that area when I was there - Great fun going through one of those heavy upstate fogs on a winter morning!

I'm up in that area all the time, maybe one day we can get together and you can buy me a steak!
