Patrick, I think you can forget about convincing them you don't have a problem that you just told them you do have. But seriously, truck drivers have crazy schedules - I'm a flat-bed driver and we normally have daytime hours, but I had to run all night three nights in a row this week just to make things work out right on this last load. If night driving is a problem for you then you've got to figure out how to deal with it, but I don't see you being able to convince SRT that it just magically quit being a problem after they fired you.
I suggest you start over somewhere else, and start applying immediately. And if you don't want to drive at night then I would think something else besides a reefer job would be a little easier on you.

I need some advice from anybody. I went to the orientation at Southern Refrigerated Transport last month, but one day after I was hired, and I was waiting for my trainer, they fired me when they learned that I had a problem driving from midnight to 5:00 with the oncoming lights on the freeway. It would tend to make me sleepy, so I don't ever drive during those hours. They asked me what if I had a pickup or delivery during those hours, and I told them that I would make the appropriate changes to my sleeping, or make sure I was within 50 miles of the company before taking my 10 hour break. They fired me and now I have to figure out a way to convince them I don't have the problem anymore. Any suggestions???
