TND 720 Update Problems

Yeah. The map update I did first then the other update.

AJ, I updated about a month ago, and never had that message pop up, either before or after I updated. I really haven't had any technical hiccups w/ my unit, save for it acting like a complete moron at times and giving me REALLY suspect directions. You're smart enough to know not to follow it blindly. Either way, I'll know where I can post any future issues. Hope you get your issue resolved.

6 String.... did you get the big update where you had to put the new maps on an Micro SD chip?

Mine is hopelessly corrupted now.... I don't have time to mess with downloads and tech support, so I'm just going to send it the factory to get zapped and clean updated.. will do next hometime break...

No, I wasn't aware of THAT new update. I haven't updated in a few months. I'll have to keep my eye out for any issues.

Did you use an 8 gig / class 10 Micro SD chip ?

Yes, the new maps are brilliant along with the OS update... If I could just get it to work! lol ... did you purchase the lifetime maps?

The freeway interchanges are much more accurate. Many of the new roads have been added, making routing, in conjunction with the new OS much more intelligent. I like the new look and the added chimes and bells for location within the transition areas.

...just to name a few.. I can' wait to get it back from the fresh factory install.

i used a class 6 8 gig sd card
