Maverick is a great place to get your start. They do an excellent job of training new flat-bed drivers, and work really hard at keeping up a nice fleet. Their drivers along with some of the TMC drivers I've met all seem to have benefited from a really good training program as far as load securement and tarping procedures goes.
I've run into a lot of Maverick drivers out in the field at shippers and receivers and for the most part they are friendly and helpful. Most of them I've come across were also very satisfied with their jobs.
The customer who is shipping the freight. This is where the driver will pick up a load and then deliver it to the receiver or consignee.
Thank you very much! I am excited to get started in trucking, although I was going to school to be a physician I decided I wanted to have a life
