Hi, Sithai! Long ago I lived in Porterville. What a beautiful part of California!
First, like most of us, you want the best choice for you. But "long haul" and "be home" are contradictions.
If you've been on TT for any amount of time, you should have looked into Truck Driver's Career Guide, Truck Driving Jobs, and How To Choose A Company.
You can also stop in at the Love's in Tulare on 99. By the trucker's entrance there's a rack of advertising with lots of jobs available. Those ads promise you you're hearts desire, but you may find some local listings there.
Good luck on your search.
When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.
I know Schneider National has a bulk program that accepts recent graduates. They're a great company to get started with.
Thank you for the information Errol V and Brett Aquila I will look into those, hope I do good in school and go with the right company my first year is what count the most.
