I'm thinking of getting a "jetpack" and adding the line to my Verizon service. I know my cell phone offers a hotspot, but my understanding is that the dedicated line for the jetpack will offer faster internet speeds and no issues with sharing the cell phone line while on the internet.

Does anyone have one of these and are you satisfied with the download/upload speeds?

I've tried some of the free internet wifi spots in some of the truck stop restaurants and they seem slow and always routing me back to the restaurant advertisements.

Thanks for any suggestions you have.

I have verizon jetpack along with AT&T cellphone & ipad. Jetpack surfing speed is 5 star! But I'm not sure about sharing within verizon accounts.

Thanks Charles K. I have been very satisfied with Verizon service, so I'm sure that part is comparable to your ATT experience. Thanks much, take care and be safe.

Steve. This is what another person on this web site wrote. Don't ask me for details because I haven't tried it and I have questions myself. I'll b checking out jetpak.

To get wifi when a person is traveling, buy an air card and a provider is millenicom. Www.millenicom.com. It uses cell phone towers.

Let us know what u find out. I won't need it for a few weeks so I haven't looked into it yet.
