Don't know when I'll be back again.

Now the nerves set in. Leaving asheville NC Saturday amd getting to Missouri Sunday. 22 hours on the dog. Giving my all to make a dream come true, a better life for my kids, and a better life for me.

Still, nerves abound. Been through the high road test, reviewing every thing again, planning on studying on the bus as well. Here we go.

Never been afraid of work, and this seems to be a job that caters to those that like to work. So I'm hoping that my work ethic will do me well.

Thank you to everyone here, and all the advice I've read and asked amd absorbed so far. Time to start packing.

I take it you are heading to Prime? If so, just remember, early is on time, on time is late and late is unacceptable. Live by those rules and you will do fine.

Yup, headed to Prime. Thank ya Ernie, I'm the type of guy who would be early to his own funeral (not sure that sounds right). So I'll for sure heed this advice!

I remember my dog trip like it was yesterday. 2hrs from norcal to Phoenix... drunk guy behind me loosing his booze, teenagers giving oral in the back...screaming baby's. .. good times. Lol

Good luck with prime.

OOS:

When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.

Jeeze thats all? 28 hours? lol When I was a 18 I took a traveling door-to-door magazine subscription job( big scam still out there) I got as far as Cincinnatti, Ohio. Couldn't sell a heater to an eskimo, got put on the dog 1 way non-refundable ticket home to So Calif... With $5 to eat on! Luckily these biker types n their women fed me some and plenty of budweiser! By time I hit Oklahoma city that 5 bucks on chips etc was gone. It was almost a 3 day ride! Stopped at every bo-dunk stop along the way! And I thought 8 hours to Vegas was bad! lol...........Good Luck Shannon
