I have been listening to music for soooo long man. when I was little i grew up listening to kearth 101 then also my grandpa was a hank williams and bill monroe and buddy holley fan. then i liked rap then i liked "college music" then i liked punk and ska then i like rock and roll then i liked it all. I had thousands of cds man im talking enough to probably pay a persons wages for a year. lol. this was when you can actually go buy cds. ha. then they did the napster thing and holy cow i had almost every song from every genre and listened to them all. I got tired of all that so I started listening to foreign music, foreign rap, yodeling, bag pipes, cifteli, dutar and many other crazy instruments.

now i am straight tired of music. i am burnt out. I like to just be peaceful with just the sound of the wind i like the sound of the dd15 lol.

but im down for some talk radio. I like talk radio. an the news radio. i like to hear the news.

Mc Kresha, Levon Helm, Hank Williams, CCR, Humble Pie, Black Sabbath, Bill Monroe, The Mamas and the Papas, Old Crow Medicine Show, Deadman, Wolfgang Schneiderhan with Schubert, Snoop, Robin Trower, Stevie Ray, Bad Company, Eric Clapton, Cream, America, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Steeley Dan, Misfits, Grand Scovell, Muddy Waters, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Ghetto Boys, Beastie Boys, Robert Johnson, Sublime, Israel Vibration, the Specials, Arlo Guthrie Woody Guthrie, Lyrical Son, WNC, Afroman, Mac Wiseman, Ricky Skaggs, Stanley Brothers, Osborne Brothers, Doc Watson, The Seeds, Elvis, Berry, Cleftones, The Doors, Bob Dylan, The Toadies, Hum, The Beach Boys, union 13, just to name a few lol. I even like Los Tucanes Los Tucanes

That was a big comment. lol But as a musician i understand where you're coming from. I've got to a point too were at times, im tired of having noise in my ear and in my area. Sometimes the summer/spring breeze and engine is more relaxing than bass clogging your ears; and sometimes its refreshing to hear people discuss and argue on talk radio. However, too much of something will definitely burn you out. So there def needs to be a balance in your music diet I feel.

But your music experience is pretty interesting. Afroman!!! HA! That's some mind staggering music...lemme tell ya lol And when it comes to foreign music, if I have a connection with the culture (like japanese music. I love it because of animes. I plan on learning japanese one day soon.), I'll listen to it with lyrics. But like Los Tucanes (i just listened to it), i dont have a connection or understand (care to understand what they are saying). Now intrumentals, I'm all for though. Being a drummer, I can't get enough of instrumentals like Perez Prado.

Genre: Mambo Perez Prado - April in Portugal

Did you listen to any gospel music other than Elvis Mr. Smith?

it depends on what you mean by gospel. choir type stuff not really but down south blues type and bluegrass folk music stuff that talked about the bible i enjoyed it for a time. i guess I'm a fan of strings mostly.

I've always been a hard rock, metal kind of guy myself. Give me metallica, disturbed, motorhead, iron maiden, megadeath, slipknot etc. I also like mellowing out with bands like Live, 3doors down, the eagles, Boston, 38 special, etc. Nothing like some great music to get you through a long day

In my queue, I have Social Distortion, Agnostic Front, Electric Hellfire Club, Rob Zombie, Motorhead, Otep, Skrillex and more. It really just depends on my mood but deep down, I'm a crusty old gutter punk who grew up around cars and trucks.
