Ice Road Truckers is on right now, Its interesting watching this again after about a year of driving and a majority of a winter spent in North Dakota. All though some of this show is dramatized I still enjoy it. Its a good watch. Plus.. this show really spiked my interest in trucking and made me want to hit the road. Would like to hit the Ice Road for a season still.. Maybe one day.

Thinking he's gone cause they don't show him with all the others in the opening sequence

I believe Hugh Polar Bear is gone. I read that somewhere on the internet.

This is the reason....

"Ice Road Truckers" star Hugh Rowland -- who drives treacherous roads for a living -- was seriously injured in a truck crash in Canada ... so bad his wife says sex is no longer an option.

Hugh claims he was a passenger in a pickup truck ... driven by one of the show's producers.

According to a new lawsuit ... producer Will Morrison was driving recklessly when he lost control, veered off the road, and crashed into trees and bushes.

Rowland -- known as "Polar Bear" on the show -- claims he suffered severe and permanent injuries ... and says he couldn't return to his job at his trucking company.

Even worse ... his wife claims SHE was also injured, saying Rowland's injuries have deprived her of love, companionship and the enjoyment of sexual relations.

Mu husband decided that Ice Road Truckers and Deadliest Catch are like horror movies for me - I'm always cold and hate it when I freeze too much. IRT not quite on the horror part so much as Deadliest Catch. IRT generally just looked like fun to me.
