World's Fastest Jet Powered Truck!

POWERED by three jet engines and hitting speeds of over 375mph - this is one lorry you won't get stuck behind. But then again, this is Shockwave, the world's fastest jet-powered truck. The three-tonne 1957 Chevy generates an incredible 36,000 horsepower and can cover a quarter mile in just six-and-a-half seconds. This footage was captured at a show in Cayuga, Ontario, Canada.

If anyone likes the older trucks, the Tri-State Antique Truck Shows are always a great time and fun to walk around.

The next one is the Fall show in Winchester, Virginia on September 24-26 right off I - 81 between Winchester & Martinsburg, WV.

Not the greatest website but there's photo links to shows from past years on the page.

But ... I posted this for the tractor pull! I've seen pulls for (duhh) tractors. I've never seen one for diesel semis.
