California Gold country is full of them. "Pleasant Valley" is less than 10 miles west of "Happy Valley" which is 40 or so miles north of " Bummerville".

I haven't traveled much in my life: Rabbit Hash, KY Isis, OH-Just a wide place in the road AIDS Run, OH---Another wide spot in the road. Ground Hog (woodchuck) hunting is great there, even better than any part of PA.
