Tesla announces new electric Semi model
Interesting article. I know people love his cars. I think if they can get charging stations and battery life close to what a driver would max on hours daily, I think he might have something.

Seriously considering CDL A school/training
David
I don't know your personal situation, but I would definitely read some of the diaries for people who attended private schools, or tech schools. I am not a driver yet, but there are many that start like this, I paid 7k for school, and all the equipment is broke down, or I got a CDL and now I can't find a job, because I didn't know a 15 over speeding ticket was an issue, or my work history is preventing me from getting a job. The private school takes your money with no guarantee of a job. Paid CDL school, is the preferred if you can do that. My son went to paid cdl training with Will-Trans. Paid nothing for schooling, and after the first week started getting a set amount a week min after he got his permit and was out with his trainer. Once his year is complete, he financial obligation is completed.
Good Luck Chris

TMC transportation training diary. Training is a mixed bag. Curious on TMC drivers and vets opinions
Hello
My son sounds like bit like you. He loves gaming, doesn't mind hard work and before becoming a truck driver, really never strayed to far from home. I do remember one day he was going to College in Hartford CT, and was headed home, NE Vermont. Well he didn't realize that he got started the wrong way until he saw signs for NYC. I continually bust his chops for that still. He didn't say his trainer was verbal like yours, but he didn't care of "the trainers way" of doing everything. My Son's trainer was a company driver, maybe yours is a lease op. I don't know. All I know, like many will tell you, training is a very small period of time in the grand scheme. I like you no quit attitude, just remember, he/she is there to train you how to drive, what to do, and what the company's expectations as a driver are. You will be done soon. Best of luck, and keep your eye on the prize.

My Son drive's for Wil-Trans. He has been solo about 6 months. He is grateful they took a chance on a 21 year old kid to operate there equipment. He did have a minor issue in training, they added additional training time, and one while solo, and guess what, they didn't let him go. The benefit of paid CDL training. Since going solo, and up until this point I don't hear to many complaints. Other than other drivers lol. He just finished up his home time. Whatever company you go with, good luck, and keep us posted.

Damn deers...
Elk are amazing animals. I have seen both elk and deer in the road, and part of the problem is when they are spooked, and try to get away real quick, there hoof slips, and cause them to either fall down briefing or slide, which slows there run away time....
