Powered Coolers?

Been considering purchasing one as I drive a lightweight truck with no room for a fridge. Just wondered if any of you use one of the powered coolers or had any bad experiences with a particular brand.

Not replying as a truck driver but as a veteran of many overland expeditions.

If you have the money the ARP fridge/freezers are great and will not run out your batteries. But they are expensive.

I saw them at a truck show a few years back. I think you can set the temperature, but I have never bought one.

I might consider it, after I pay off some of my debt.

I have an Igloo powered cooler. Been running it 2 yrs now flawless operation. I love it

I got my 40qt Coleman about a month ago. I needed a bungee cord to hold it in the cabinet.

The $100/Walmart investment is worth not having to buy ice and drain the water.
