I'm trying to see how employment verification is done with my current employer. I work at a car dealership, been here three years. they're known as a place that if they get wind someone is looking, they'll show you the door whether it's true or not. Prime talked to me today and they're doing employment verification, but this has been my only job in the last three years. he said he can wait until the end, but it needs to be done in order to hire me. I've never have employment verification done with a current employer, so I don't know what the standard procedure is. don't hey just call and ask of I work there and how long? or do they say I applied for a job with them and ask if I work there, dates, etc.

Most sales organizations are like that. "Ready,... Fire,... Aim" ...!

I would strongly suggest running your concerns past the Prime recruiter you are currently working with. Usually they approach it discreetly without revealing what you are actually doing, but I would verify that Prime.

Hay tripletdad do you have triplets? I used to deal with, verification, a lot in my old job most are very discrete. But talk to your prime rep if you are conserned. Best of luck

Definitely let your recruiter know that they cannot allude to you looking for a new job. However, most jobs will usually just say they are verifying employment, which can be done when you're applying for credit for a house or car purchase, so it's not necessarily a strange thing to be asking for. In order to shield themselves from liability, most companies are careful about asking for employment verifications in case the job search or financial status is confidential.

I say "most companies" because you just don't know if someone in a smaller company is savvy enough to conduct a generic employment verification, but I'm pretty confident a company the size of Prime will be discreet.

Good luck!

How old are the triplets? My daughter, sits and waits for me to come back home when I head out on the road. Gets bored after a few hours but loves it when I call home and Skype with her.

Well old school you ready for a story? My grandfather named me tadpole when I was born. I carried that name all into high school were it was changed to killertadpole. Becuase I love to hunting and fishing. Well in college I got involved with a stripper. She changed it to murderspolywog. I thought it was cool and use it for online forums and gaming id now. I hope it lived up to your curiosity old school.
