Howdy!

I've taken part in many forums across the interweb. I've been a long time moderator of an online gaming community & participated in multiple astronomy, coin collecting & (now) Trucking forums.

I am well aware of the upkeep (financially) of maintaining a forum & was wondering if there are any thoughts of making an optional contribution link (via PayPay) or some other means.

Trucking Truth is an invaluable service to members of the community & I would happily donate to the cause if a venue were available.

I know Trucking Truth is a service offered "free" but generating hits alone can be a slow means of generating site revenue for maintenance & upkeep.

Any thoughts of adding a "donation" portal to alleviate some of the burden? Maybe even offer contributors a a "supporter" status for a monthly, quarterly, bi-annually or annually contribution?

Of coarse this has little to do with the industry itself...but many of us are grateful for the opportunity (myself included) & would happily oblige to contribute (voluntarily) to the upkeep of the site.

Perhaps even a "Trucking Truth" store for T-shirts, coffee mugs, bumper stickers & keychains?

Just a thought. smile.gif

Thanks again for all you do Brett! Sincerely, -"Charlie Mac"

I also wouldn't mind donating to the upkeep of this site. I lurked on here for a long while before going to training and I occasionally join discussions or ask questions here now. I feel like this site is an amazing resource and think a donate option is a good idea

I agree! Would be awesome to be in your very own tractor-trailer with a TT Keychain on your set. Humble beginnings to Big-Time Big-Rigs.

I understand if Brett wishes to keep things "low key" but just want him to know we are here & very grateful for the opportunity to participate in such a beneficial program.

Yes, the posters above me, this site is Great. Amazing that it's free. Brett has written before that one company paid to use his High Road Training. I think they used it a short time, and then did something else.

Thanks Brett, great website!

I would probably wear a t shirt dedicated to TT or even use a keychain.

I would love to sport a TT t-shirt, and a key chain, maybe even a hat, and even stroll into the TA, Petro, or Flying Pilot and get a refill in my TT travel mug.

Brett created an invaluable tool, and giving back would be privilege, for me.

Thanks everyone!

We have had merchandise on the list for quite some time and we still haven't quite gotten to getting it put together. It's coming, but not sure when.

A couple people nicely made a suggestion about our ads but technically we aren't allowed to encourage any interaction with them so I had to remove those. But thank you.

I don't intend to put a donation button up but again, thank you. That's a very nice thing for you to mention.

Thus far we've been able to keep things free and we'd like to keep it that way. We may at some point come up with a paid membership option or paid options for other offerings but even if that happens we'd always like to have at least one free version of anything we have.
