What sort of "bad vibes" do you get from Paschall?
After getting the letter of intent to hire from PTL i spoke with the school and they were not on the same page as far as pay and soforth.Did a lot of research on the co.really couldent find any good things about them.
Welcome Q H.
Listen, Paschall has been around a long time. Like any large company they have all kinds of freight available and they obviously know what they're doing.
The questions is do you know what you're doing? And of course the answer would be no, you don't!
So don't worry about them. They know what they're doing. A recent change in their pay rate can account for the discrepancy. Companies change their pay rates regularly. If you go in there and you show them you're ready to put in a serious effort to learn all you can, work hard, and get along well with people you'll do great anywhere you go.
But let me tell ya - a lot of people read all sorts of negativity online about trucking and they go into it with this attitude like, "Well, I'll give this company an opportunity to impress me and if they do maybe I'll stick around for a while." Let me tell ya, those people wind up on a bus home so fast you can't believe it and guess where they wind up? That's right - straight to the Web so they can tell the world what a horrible company that was. It's a vicious cycle that's perpetuated itself for many years now on the Web and it's why we named this site TruckingTruth. It was time that someone stood up and told people the truth about how this industry works and what it takes to be successful out there. It was awful listening to people cry, complain, and tell lies about their experiences.
So if they'll put you in a truck and give you a shot then go for it! Go show em what you're made of and become an awesome driver. You can always change jobs down the road if another opportunity seems interesting. No problem with that. But you have to establish yourself in the industry first and Paschall is one of many good options for getting that done.
You are right i dont know what i am doing and thanks for your candor i dont pay a great deal of attention to all the negative stuff out their was just wanting to get off on the right foot ,thanks for your reply.

Welcome aboatd Q. H.
We've had a few Paschall drivers in here before. If you'll put Paschall in the search bar up at the top of this page (it only searches this site) you may be able to pick up a little info that way.
