Is this TWIC card or a passport needed for CR England? Figured I'd ask here before I called this recruiter
Absolutely not.
But it only benefits you to get them.
Truck drivers who regularly pick up from or deliver to the shipping ports will often be required to carry a TWIC card.
Your TWIC is a tamper-resistant biometric card which acts as both your identification in secure areas, as well as an indicator of you having passed the necessary security clearance. TWIC cards are valid for five years. The issuance of TWIC cards is overseen by the Transportation Security Administration and the Department of Homeland Security.
Six, that is exactly right !!! The more you can offer a company, the more companies will want you !!! AND all those endorsements, like HAZMAT , TWIC , and such are better paying loads....so its a win win for you !! Good Luck !!
Explosive, flammable, poisonous or otherwise potentially dangerous cargo. Large amounts of especially hazardous cargo are required to be placarded under HAZMAT regulations

When I asked whether they were 'needed' for CR England, what I intended to ask was whether or not CR England runs a lot of loads that would require any of these extra things. I need to know what I should get and when to get it/them rather than going to them and getting a bare minimum Class A CDL and missing out on 'better paying' stuff... Anyone from CR England able to comment on this question?
A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:
Our opinion is to get all of the endorsements for your license. Unless you plan on working for CR England the rest of your life you don't want to limit your opportunities. The endorsement tests, other than Hazmat , are short multiple choices quizzes you take one time and have the endorsement for life. Hazmat requires more but it's a great one to have because most companies haul at least a little Hazmat from time to time and having that endorsement will help.
The TWIC card is helpful also but I don't know how necessary that will be.
But definitely get all of your endorsements for your CDL right away. Then you've got em, they're out of the way, and the rest of your career you'll have more opportunities available.
