What dates should I put in the load tab if I deadhead to my pickup a day early? For example, I leave today 05/21 and maybe even pickup my load today, but the official pickup time is tomorrow 05/22. Put start date as today?

Today's date, trip # and the trailer # of your empty. Once you get the load edit and add your BOL #.

Thanks G!

Deadhead:

To drive with an empty trailer. After delivering your load you will deadhead to a shipper to pick up your next load.

One of the things I like about Prime is that they do fill in the load tab once you get your load assignment with all the information they have for that load. The only time I have had to edit that is when I have had a drop/hook and needed to add the new trailer number.

So, at least someone had figured out how to do that. Other companies I have driven for (JB Hunt, Barr Nunn) don't seem to have a clue about this.

I wish swift would automate this. Three trailers on same trip #.
